Product Description LS2 Advant X Carbon

The LS2 Advant X Carbon is a modular helmet from the brand LS2. You can rotate the chin bar 180 degrees backwards so that if you’re riding a little faster on the highway with the chin bar open, you experience little wind resistance. The helmet is also ECE 22.06 and P/J certified which means you can ride with the chin bar open since it is approved as a jet helmet.

The Advant X Carbon will compete with other high end modular helmets like the Shoei Neotec 2, AGV Sportmodular, Shark EVO GT, X-Lite X-1005 Ultra Carbon, Roof BoXXer Carbon, Schuberth C5, AGV Tourmodular, Scorpion EXO-TECH EVO Carbon and the HJC RPHA 91

Material

The Advant X Carbon is made from multiple layers of carbon. LS2 used multiple layers of carbon that has resulted in a very strong but light modular helmet. Carbon helmets are the strongest and usually the lightest helmets available.

The helmet is available in 7 sizes and 2 outer shell sizes (XS-L / XL-3XL). The amount of 2 outer shell sizes is not the best amount a helmet can have, since a helmet with more outer shell sizes not only looks better it is also a lot safer.

Visor

The visor of the Advant X Carbon is a 3D Optical A class visor that is scratch resistant and UV Resistant. The helmet is Prepared for a pinlock Lens and is included in the box. The Pinlock Lens that is included in the box is a Max Vision Pinlock that ensures your visor will never fog up while riding.

The helmet also a quick release system which ensures a quick and easy switch of the visor.

Comfort

The inner liner of the LS2 Advant X Carbon is made of X-Static silver liner which is removable and washable. They also used an extra comfortable liner for an even better riding experience. This liner is also hypoallergenic, which means that the liner is moisture wicking. To ensure an even better fit LS2 used laser-cut foam to fit the curves of the rider wearing,

The helmet has an emergency quick release which is a big safety feature. This ensures that, in the event of an incident, the helmet can be removed in a safe and easier way. To increase the visibility on the helmet they also placed reflective patched on the helmet. The helmet also has a Multi-Density EPS inner shell to increase safety.
